 The HHS Class of '73 Reunion Committee (a group of dedicated and disarmingly good-looking members of the class) took on the task of establishing our Memorial Garden on the site of our high school. We're happy to say: mission accomplished. We raised $6500 for the garden. You can see pictures of the garden on the home page and on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/HHS73reunion. The 50th reunion gave us an in-person opportunity to discuss possible future activities of the class. Many members of the class expressed an interest in further expanding our legacy in the schools and in the town. To that end, the Reunion Committee has evolved into the Endowment Committee, with the aim of establishing a scholarship for HHS graduates. 

 We have $10,414 in scholarship funds already. That's a significant start - but let’s think bigger... we need to get to $20,000.  Seems doable, yes?  On the advice of Amy Jordan, our excellent advisor from the Hudson Community Foundation, the minimum practical goal is $20,000, offering an annual scholarship of $1,000 forever.  That's a significant start - but let’s think even bigger... $100,000 would allow us to offer $5000 in scholarships - 5% of the fund in perpetuity. Your donation is tax deductible. Compound interest and tax-free growth are both wonderful things.  SO...our short-term goal is the $20,000 mark by the end of 2025. This allows us to hit the ground running in May 2026 with a scholarship of $1000. We happily take checks, cash, stocks, farm animals and credit cards - and if you'd like to donate today or make a pledge, we've made it easy!
